Any Project Cars players here?
I can't find any reference to X-Motor Racing in comparison to pCars.

Hi GTV,

I can't call myself a pCars player. But it seems pCars is a simcade something like NFS Shift 2.5.

Hi,
I have access to every week build of pCars. I don't have as much time as I want but trying to play every time I can.
Comparsion between that two titles is hard.

pCars are not hardcore simracing game (yet?) but it offers very good graphics, sound, detailed and accurate tracks. It boosts immersion of driving even the physics and tires are WIP.

xmotor - I think the overall handling and physics are much better but graphics and sound lowers the experience.

Your physics engine + graphics of pCars would be a killer on market :)

However ... I'm impatient waiting for another title. Assetto Corsa - for me - black horse of simracing. Since I bouhgt my wheel I tested many titles but when I go in car in AC I said "wow, i'm in real car" Immersion of driving, car behaviour and physics are amazing. Graphics also very good.

Here You can access the demo with one track and Lotus. You must probably buy (cheap) licence for it's old but well known simgame "NetKar" but it's worth of it.

Hi Robert,

Frankly, I downloaded AC but not tried yet.

It seems I must study it and think hard about graphics and sound.

I've been thinking about physics for many years.

I think physics are the most important aspect to any sim game.

You may also take a look into this project. Found it by accident on YT one week ago. It has playable demo. I can't setup properly my wheel but on videos it looks very interesting. Graphics are on Unity engine. It's good and solid. I think it's enough for start.

Trying to develop everything by one person is not good way I think. You should better promote this project. I found it by accident on other forum.
Maybe demo with best car/track combo and facebook page is good start.
50$ is way to much for someone who just want to test this, just drive and see if it's good or not.

And also You can get much more feedback and help. There are also many tallented guys who can help with graphics and models. Maybe it's worth of it.

Yep, I heard about Car-X :)
Anatol3D works on it if he still works.
They jumped into iOS and distribute it as a middle ware not a racing sim. Originally that was a LFS clone or something like this.

As to me...I'm not alone anymore :)
AZone helps me. But making good mods and cars is very difficult task.

As for the demo....I'm thinking to add BMW M3 or maybe Porsche 911 to the next release this autumn.
Hope to add improved track. Maybe Laguna Seca. I'm tired of Donington Park :)
