When I press T (chat mode) at the track force feedback turns off. Is it expected behavior?

Undocumented feature :) It's useful for sure, but taken some time for me to realize why FFB disappeared. I even went and checked all my options at FFB page. Maybe if there be an option to turn it on/off no such question will arise.

I think it's possible to add this option. Hope to add that soon.

The multiplayer is definitely on the right track, it changed from unplayable to very good, opponent cars are seen going smoothly even when driving at high speeds and close range, when it's essential to have no glitches.

sure there are some occasional jumps and very short freezes.

The problem that remains is the collision behavior, there are too often "overreaction" of the cars to minor contacts. I guess this is a difficult problem to solve, all big names have issues with it occasionally. XMR has to improve here.
Anyway, after the graphics update and this, I have to say I'm really happy with the game, we should just get more of us online more often.

Yeah, car collisions reminds me like billiard balls are hitting - elastic impact. But in real life a lot of energy is get absorbed by car's body deformation, so collisions are not so springy.

I had to add elastic collisions to save the smooth movements in multiplayer.
As always - fight of compromises.
You can see that collisions in AI are quite normal.

There's always a way to improve the optimum, instead of pure trade-off, ;) I'm pretty sure Eugene will manage.
So, a quick race tonight? Where's xmotorracer and the other guys?
